Inverse scattering transform analysis of Stokes-anti-Stokes stimulated Raman scattering.
Zakharov-Shabat–Ablowitz-Kaup-Newel-Segur (ZS–AKNS) representation for Stokes-anti-Stokes stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) is proposed. Periodical waves, solitons and self-similarity solutions are derived. Transient and bright threshold solitons are discussed. December 29, 1994 Sofia
متن کاملCoherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering imaging under ambient light.
We demonstrate an ambient light coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering microscope that allows CARS imaging to be operated under environmental light for field use. The CARS signal is modulated at megahertz frequency and detected by a photodiode equipped with a lab-built resonant amplifier, then extracted through a lock-in amplifier. The filters in both the spectral domain and the frequency domain...
متن کاملBroadly tunable dual-wavelength light source for coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering microscopy.
The signal and idler beams from a picosecond, synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO) provide the two colors necessary for coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy. The OPO provides a continuously tunable frequency difference between the two beams over a broad range of Raman shifts (100-3700 cm(-1)) by varying the temperature of a single nonlinear crystal. The ne...
متن کاملPolarization coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering microscopy.
We report polarization coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (P-CARS) microscopy that allows vibrational imaging with high sensitivity and spectral selectivity. The nonresonant background signals from both Raman scatterers and the solvent are efficiently suppressed in P-CARS microscopy. We demonstrate P-CARS imaging of unstained cells based on the contrast of the protein amide I band.
متن کاملSingle-shot gas-phase thermometry using pure-rotational hybrid femtosecond/picosecond coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering.
High-repetition-rate, single-laser-shot measurements are important for the investigation of unsteady flows where temperature and species concentrations can vary significantly. Here, we demonstrate single-shot, pure-rotational, hybrid femtosecond/picosecond coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (fs/ps RCARS) thermometry based on a kHz-rate fs laser source. Interferences that can affect nanosecon...
